I Like Mike Huckabee

MikeHuckabee.com - I Like Mike! I’m formally posting my endorsement for Mike Huckabee to be the Republican candidate for the 2008 Presidential Election (and then of course, to be the next president). I know I discussed a short time ago that I wanted to discuss politics and religion more on this blog, but I don’t want you to think that that’s all I intend to discuss here.

However, lately I’ve been doing a lot of research into the various individuals running for the Republican nomination and I can’t help but get really excited over one in particular, Mike Huckabee.

It all started when I read my dad’s post on why he supports Mike Huckabee. We never really discussed him much, but after reading through that post, I clicked over to www.MikeHuckabee.com to learn more about this man myself. And I have to tell you, I really liked what I learned there.

I liked him so much that I started a sub-blog here called “I Like Mike” where I talk about why I’m supporting Mike Huckabee for President in 2008. I kept this separate so that those of you who are subscribed to my mailing list but are not particularly interested in hearing all about that subject will not get inundated with unwanted Mike Huckabee news. But those who are interested in my rants on the man and his campaign, then please pop in and join me there. I’ll be spending lots of time there, I’m sure.

If you have never heard of Mike, or have heard dribs and drabs about him, then please go check out his site and view the source. If you have heard about him and are curious what others have to say, then check out why I like Mike and add your two cents.

This man is unlike other politicians…he’s actually very likable. Check him out…you might find you’ll like him too!

Wow, Carrie, I am shocked and surprised at this ignominious development. Not really– he is a very good choice.

  2. Comment from Carrie Wigal:

LOL I had to look that word up, “ignominious”… it means, “Marked by shame or disgrace”.

Frankly, I wouldn’t be surprised if he brings more Christians into the political process. Why some people don’t believe the two should be mixed really baffles me. Weren’t a large percentage of our forefathers considered “religious”? They helped shape the constitution, so why would it be such a foreign idea to have “religious” politicians? (By “religious”, I simply mean “God-fearing”.)
