What is it with our Board of Supervisors? Are they insane??? I thought this idea of throwing taxpayer money around was just a fancy of the federal government’s, but it seems that there are folks in Fluvanna County who are equally reckless in managing our pocketbooks…four folks in particular. Their names are John Gooch, Charles […]

The band-aid solutions have been to install trailers on the two campuses, but these were only meant to be temporary. Well, another school year has gone by and still no reasonable solution has been provided by the School […]

Before I ruffle too many feathers, I’m just asking the question. I’m not declaring there is one, but someone needs to take a closer look at this.
It appears there has been a plan for a new high school at Pleasant Grove as early as 2003 (or before).
In 2004 a Joint Committee was formed and $50,000 […]

A few days ago I blogged about a Petition for Referendum circulating Fluvanna County about the School Board-proposed Domino Plan. I personally printed out this petition and took it with me to various places this weekend in order to obtain signatures.
The first place I took it was church. I was unable to request permission from […]

There was an alternative plan mentioned at last week’s Board of Supervisors meeting to the current Domino Plan. It took a little research to find more about it online, but this is what I found…
